We host a variety of groups, providing a wide range of activities, challenging educational programming, and the perfect environment to step out of the everyday and connect with nature.
School Groups & Outdoor Education Programs – We invite you to extend your classrooms to the outdoors. We offer two choices of programming for your students, recreational or educational.
1) Recreational – Bring your school anywhere from a 1/2 day to multiple days and enjoy the extensive choice of recreational activities that we offer. Some activities must be facilitated by our staff, others may be led by your staff or ours.
2) Educational – Add an educational component to the activities for your students. A couple examples of what that might look like are: a) Orienteering, instead the students only doing a previously set up course, they would learn how to set up a course for their classmates to then do. b) Canoeing, it would involve learning about the equipment, Transport Canada requirements, how to execute proper stroke technique and take part in games on the water to enhance their learning.
Corporate Team Building, Leadership Retreats, Professional Development Days & Conferences – Creating a Strategic Plan? Building your Team? Launching a Project? Planning a Conference or Retreat? Or simply need a place for your Team or Group to relax and unwind. What ever your need, our qualified staff will help your group meet their goals to ensure the success of your time with us.
Retreats that include a Team Building Component to be facilitated by our Staff (either in part or the whole).
Retreats that do not include a Team Building component facilitated by our Staff but include the use of our facilities and/or activities.
Youth Events – Youth Groups, Boy Scouts, Girl Guides, Music and Dance Groups, and any other Youth centered groups. Let us know what you are looking for in relation to activities, meeting space, programming space, accommodations and food services. We will work with you to ensure that your time at Camp Manitou is exactly what you are needing.
Sports Team Getaways & Team Challenges – Whether it is the use of our NHL sized outdoor skating rink, along with our other facilities and activities, or Team Building activities to help your Team bond, we are here to ensure that the purpose of your time at Camp Manitou meets your expectations.
Family Reunions / Church Retreats – With accommodations of 118 in our heated cabins (will be increasing to 142), and 36 in the Travis Price Center along with Activities for all ages, we are the perfect location to host Family Reunions or Church Family Retreats, whether small or large.
Special Events – Children’s Birthday Parties, Family Celebrations and other Special Events. We look forward to helping you plan for the special day. *Please note that as we are primarily a Youth Camp that we are limited to the number and types of Special Events that we are able to host. Please contact us for more information in this regard and with any questions you may have. email@example.com
Training – Camp Manitou is adding a Training Center to allow us to offer a variety of certification courses for our user groups. We are currently working on a separate training page for the website, but in the interim, please click on the following link to access the application with all the course offerings. Or if you have questions, please email Audrey at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 204-305-0141. Courses can take place at Camp Manitou or off-site.

What Rentals Say About Us
I would like to thank you and everyone at Camp Manitou for their hard work and dedication. Every counselor went above and beyond expectations and ensured that our summer ran smoothly. Our campers absolutely loved your camp and all your workers. Thank you so much for all your hard work!
Rambel Palsis – Recreational Facilitator, Society for Manitobans with Disabilities
All of the children were so excited to go canoeing and enjoyed all the activities immensely. We truly feel blessed to have had the opportunity to come for our fourth annual ‘Camp Day’ and our third time to Camp Manitou! It is by far our favourite camp. We have a huge focus on reconnecting children with nature and know that their experiences have helped to nurture their love of the great outdoors. Your staff were all fabulous!
